Dr. McKinney has been involved supporting health and education of children through many organizations. This week she is enhancing her own knowledge as she begins a comprehensive course at Kois Center:

Kois Center offers a comprehensive nine-course curriculum involving aesthetic, occlusion, and restorative dentistry. This curriculum is built upon Dr. John C. Kois´ mission statement: “Enabling motivated dentists to achieve extraordinary levels, expanding both knowledge and application skills in restorative dentistry.”

Way to go Dr. McKinney!

Have you used all your dental benefits for 2009?  If you don’t utilize them this year they will be lost forever.  You have until December 23, 2009.

Do you know someone who hasn’t been to the dentist for a while?  Send them in!  We would love to take great care of them as well.

If you have the ability to set up flexible spending accounts (FSA) through your employer  for 2010, now is the time to do that as well!  Please let us know if you need some numbers to help you do that.

See you soon! ~Andrea

We are so fortunate here in the United States.

Hello!  Thought we would share this fun video we found of Ellen Degeneres doing a fake Oral B Triumph commercial.  Enjoy!  It’s pretty cute.

Dr. McKinney has been nominated for Puget Sound Business Journal’s Top 40 Business Leaders Under 40 Contest.

Dr. McKinney is back from India! She was happy to be able to impact a lot of children. She alone saw approx 200 patients, did 500 fillings and 40 extractions. Here are a few photos…there will be more coming. See http://www.himalayandental.com and http://www.dzifoundation.org/projectsCurrent.html for more info on what she was up too. These are 2 great foundations. She was in Leh, Ladakh, India, which is near the Pakistan, China, and Tibetan borders.

india-girlDr. McKinney is headed to India for 2 weeks to volunteer in a remote town in northern India.  The altitude there is 12,000 feet.  She will be treating and educating children like this little girl as well as adults with emergent needs.  All of us are very excited for her.  She’s bringing 500 treasure chest items for all of the children that will be treated in the make shift clinic.  We wish her a very safe trip….DENTISTE team!
